EDUCATION TO UNDERSTAND THE WORLD & CHANGE IT FOR THE BETTER

Greenwich Community Schools Partnership

Our school is an active member of the Greenwich Community Schools Partnership.

This partnership is a group of maintained schools, and one stand-alone academy, all situated within the Royal Borough of Greenwich.  The group represents nurseries, schools, colleges, and specialist provision, educating children from nursery to 6th Form. It is open to all community schools who share our common beliefs and wish to work collaboratively with others to enable self-sustaining school improvement.

We believe:
  • Schools should be representative of, and democratically accountable to, their local communicates. They should seek the common good.
  • Headteachers must seek to serve their children and young people, upholding the Nolan Principles for Public Life.
  • Children and young people educated by our schools should be equipped with the knowledge and skills to open all doors in the world.
  • Teachers occupy a particularly important role in national life, so schools must seek, develop and retain, to the best of their ability, the highest quality of qualified staff.
  • Knowledge and creativity are central to the development of children and young people.

We work together to:
  • Share expertise,
  • Support each other in times of challenge,
  • Develop an exceptionally strong common workforce,
  • Provide model community education in Greenwich to rival any other provision.

We believe this creates the conditions in which children and young people in Greenwich can achieve highly and we can raise expectations and aspirations for children and young people of all backgrounds.
