We are asking you to complete an online form in a bid to make admissions more efficient and to reduce our paper use. Is there a system for lost property? Lost property is held at reception and is available to check every other Wednesday after school. Please contact reception for exact dates..
Who do I contact with questions regarding school issues concerning my child? Your child’s tutor is the first point of call and then the head of year.

Where can I find out about what is going on in school?
Parents can subscribe to the newsletter.
Will my child have a locker?
All students are offered a locker in year 7.
When is the Duke of Edinburgh Award offered to students?
Duke of Edinburgh Award is available for year 10 students and they will receive all information at the start of year 10.
What extra curricular opportunities are available for students at Tallis?
There are many fantastic opportunities available to students at Tallis. Students are told about opportunities in a variety of forms, in tutor time, assemblies and from subject teachers.
Are parents allowed to use the car park?
The car park is for staff use only.
How can I help my child to be organised?
Encourage your child to pack their school bag the night before. Homework and other useful information is available on the Student Portal.
How can I help monitor my child’s home learning?All parents have access to MyChildatSchool which allows them to monitor Home Learning. A letter with login information is sent at the beginning of the year.
How can I get a note to one of my child’s teachers?
Each child uses a planner, there is a note section where you can leave a message for a teacher.
How do I pay for a school journey or event?
All payments made to school are made via MyChildatSchool. Parents will receive a login. There is the option to make payments for any large amounts in instalments.
How can I make sure my child is eating healthily whilst at school?
Parents can use their MyChildatSchool login to see what their child has purchased during break and lunchtime.
