How to help your Year 11 student revisePlease find linked a presentation that goes through simple techniques on how to revise. We have been using this with the students for over a year. There are helpful videos and other tools to support with revision.
We do recommend they make a revision timetable, this can be made either on paper or by using: https://getrevising.co.uk. Here is an example plan. Students also have access to Sparx for Maths and GCSEPod for content revision. Please find these links opposite. We will regularly update this section with what to revise and help hints and tips. Please pop back for updates. |

What to revise - a quick guide
Please click the button below to view a subject revision guide. This contains links to various resources and revision materials. The document has been emailed to the students.
Homework
All students are expected to complete two hours a night of homework and revision. If your students only has one subject for homework they should be using a revision timetable to complete 1-2 other subjects revision. This should be broken down into units for example, 30 minutes of Biology - Cells and then 30 minutes of English- Romeo and Juliet. This is where organising what they need to learn and then planning really helps. We are here to support with this. All homework is set on My Child at School or Bromcom.
