Visual & Media Arts

The Visual & Media Arts curriculum area is located in Block 1: EXPLORE.
It comprises the following departments:

Art & Design
Art & Design is taught to all students at Key Stage 3 for one hour per week. At Key Stage 4, students study GCSE Art. At Post 16 they have a choice between A-level Art or BTEC Art & Design.

Film & Media
Students can specialise in Media at KS4 with the BTEC Creative Digital Media Production (Technical) or our Eduqas GCSE Film Studies courses. At Post 16 they can choose between A-Level Film Studies and BTEC Creative Digital Media Production (Technical) specialising in Film and Television.

Photography
GCSE Photography is available at KS4 and the A-level course at Post 16.
